Beyoncé Covers CR Fashion Book Issue 5

For Issue 5 of Carine Roitfeld’s CR Fashion Book, the young, yet revered imprint tapped Beyoncéfor its latest cover story. Shot by Pierre Debusschere with guest creative direction coming from Riccardo Tisci, the double-sided cover image sees Queen B wearing an all-over floral cape from Yohji Yamamoto with a Yeezus-esque mask on one side. The rest of the spread includes styles from COMME des GARCONS, Prada, Nike, and a Chanel surfboard(t). Furthermore, in lieu of a cover story, Beyoncé wrote an introspective poem, which was then “remixed” by Pulitzer Prize–winning poet Forrest Gander.
